TidyPayouts ("we", "us") provides software that turns e-commerce marketplace payouts into accounting entries. This policy explains what we collect and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address and workspace details you provide.
- Marketplace data: when you authorize Amazon, we receive your settlement and financial reports, including order, fee, refund and tax line items, through the Amazon Selling Partner API. We request the minimum access needed for this purpose.
- Accounting data: chart-of-accounts details and entries you choose to send to your accounting software.
- Usage data: basic logs for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your data only to provide TidyPayouts to you: importing payouts, preparing accounting entries, matching bank deposits and producing reports. We do not sell or rent your data, use it for advertising, or share one customer's data with another. Amazon information is not used for any purpose other than supporting your own accounting.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that host and operate TidyPayouts under confidentiality obligations, with the accounting software you connect, or where required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access tokens are stored encrypted. Access to production data is restricted to personnel who need it, and we promptly investigate and report security incidents as required by law and by Amazon's policies.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect Amazon at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@tidypayouts.com. We delete Amazon-sourced data on request and after your account closes, except where retention is legally required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.
